If you belong to some organizations such as The Experimental Aircraft Owners Assn., or Disabled Vetran's Assn. (DAV), you can log onto Ford's website that the qualifying organization will send you, register and be given a PIN #. You take that PIN# print out to the Ford dealer and identify yourself as an X-plan buyer AFTER you confirm the vehicle at the dealership is for sale and not sold or just order a new vehicle. I don'think this applies to tractors.

Randy,
Thank you. I have been a X club member for 2 years now. I just thought that if ford/New Holland tractors offered this, Why not take advantage of it. Thanks again,

Could you point me to the webpage that offers the xplan or xclub info. I would be interested in seeing the info for DAV and XPlan

Thanks

I just went through this when I purchased a TC45. The plan that relates to New Holland Tractors is the A-Plan.

I qualify for the X-plan which relates to vehicles only. To qualify for the A-plan you have to present a check stub to the dealer that says "Ford Motor Company." That means that none of the suppliers or contractors qualify (even Ford spinoffs like Visteon).

The A-plan goes like this. The dealer sells the tractor and equipment that you want branded New Holland to you for invoice amount. Ford Motor Company or New Holland then give the dealer a handling charge of 5% for making the transaction.

While I did not qualify for the A-plan, I made a deal at invoice plus 5% and I got 0% financing. I am not sure what financing you can get with a normal A-plan transaction. ....

TC33,
I joined EAA.org(experimental aircraft association)to get my x plan pin#.(like $30.00 a year) I think you have to be a member for 1 year now before you can get a ford pin #.

AC55ZO,
Thanks for the info!

Sure! TC33, go to www.fordpartner.com and follow the instructions. If you are a memeber of the DAV, use the partner code DAVET. Good luck! Hope you have better luck with Ford than I did. I'll NEVER own another Ford or Chevy again. Just bought me a 2002 Dodge 2500 SLT, 4 x 4, Cummins HO, 6 speed and LOVE it! I pull a 26 ft. Sea Ray and my Kubota L245, loader, and finishing mower with it.

Thanks... I own a dodge currently and have had good luck with it too. I have never been a loyal fan of anyone type of car but have had some real sour notes with many.

Thanks ....
